Experimental Determination of Physical Properties of aSun Dried Clay Bricks with Cement and Ashes

The rising cost of cement and the problem waste disposal with regard to coconut rice husks lead research on a clay brick good physical properties that can replace at same time keep our environment clean. In line this, bricks were moulded clay, cement, husk ash, ash. analyzed determine their properties. this study, set tables for mixing proportion raw material in grams 33.3 cm3 water, table involved addition certain additive improve adobe developed. Five constructed seventeen samples give total 85 which tested laboratory results shows mixed ash has highest compressive strength 4270.0 x 10-3 Nmm-2 modulus rupture 1750.0 10-2 Nmm2. ricehusk both are having water absorption 1000 cm3.
